Let Your Light Shine

As God continues to reveal himself to us, it’s important that we take time to listen and respond to what he’s saying, especially when multiple people confirm the same things. Through six people who shared at the meeting last Sunday, the following two themes became clear:

• We carry the light of Christ with us.

• We must let Jesus into the places closed off to him.

Even when we’re excited by all God is doing, we can experience anxiety about what it means to fully enter in, especially when there are so many challenges in our lives. In 2 Corinthians 4:6-12, Paul shows us how we allow the light and life of Christ and the power of his Holy Spirit to shine in what we say and do by letting Jesus in into our weakness and fragility.
